Romina's story

It all began when, hand in hand with a family tradition linked to the footwear industry, Romina decided to start designing and manufacturing for herself and her friends. This initiative was the motivation that was needed to begin to make the designs a reality that until then, were only papers and sketches of strident colors. She was immediately encouraged to launch her first collection, and already the enthusiasm of the venture competed with the reality of a temperate one in progress. Between sketches, pencils, leather samples, the phone rang. Punta del Este Catwalk summoned Mary Roose not only as Official Footwear of the catwalk, but also as a Brand with its own past representing its country. Fact that was also repeated the following year.

Although the design of each shoe is created by Romi, she is not only the designer of Mary Roose. At the age of 29, she was awarded the JCI Youth Award, nominated by the Province of Santa Fe in the list of best businesswoman of the year. Convened the following year by ENDEAVOR, to carry out the HIT program, and winner of the Banco Macro Naves Program with a Scholarship at the IAE.

She is behind all the production stages, restless, perfectionist and eager to discover new ideas, which are undoubtedly reflected in each piece created. Belonging to a family of shoe manufacturers and being the third generation of the same, Romina has managed to combine her experiences in the world of footwear with the conformation of a group of professionals guided by well-defined criteria of aesthetics and composition. At the same time, a constant setting of new objectives continues to be that their shoes walk more kilometers than imagined at first, dressing personalities such as Luisana Lopilato and Antonela Roccuzzo, among others.
